The Kumpnee sign publishing deal

Ronnie and myself took a trip up to Wentworth Falls last week to meet with Gary from Centrifuge Music Publishing, who are a Sydney based boutique agency who we’ve just signed a publishing deal. Centrifuge will handle the catalogue of songs by us to get sync, liscensing and music supervision deals amongst others. Gary and Tim from Centrifuge have been in the industry for years so we know they will handle our babies (songs) with great care. They have a great roster of talent like Noiseworks, Lisa Crawley and The Never Ever on their books and we are stoked to be welcomed into the ‘fuge’ family. We will also be working alongside some of these artists in terms of co-writing and collabs, so we are very excited about what the future may bring.

Distribution deal, Album now in stores

Early in January we signed a distribution deal with a distribution company in Australia which means our album ‘The Kumpnee Ball’ is now out in stores nation wide in Australia, JB Hi-Fi, Sanity, The Leading Edge etc and online, iTunes, Big Pond, Telstra, Vodafone etc

We are talking with a distributor in New Zealand to get our album into stores which is a longer process than here in Australia so we are working to get it into NZ soon but you can buy it online from all major online outlets in New Zealand.

It’s pretty cool seeing our album in stores that we’ve actually bought CD’s from. So if you like our music, please go into any of these stores and buy our album please. Or you can buy it from JB Hi Fi here
